Ralphie: He needs not much introduction, he's been with us
|
Batwoman: She's one of the park cats, spayed in 2011 and brought into the sanctuary in 2012. Although she sometimes makes a quick appearance she is really only bonded with me.
Zach: Was born March 4, 2009. He along with his brother Sawyer have been with us since 2010 and are pretty inseparable. He donated his kidney to fellow cat Tiddles that same year. He gets yearly blood work to monitor his health and his remaining kidney is functioning just fine.
Runt: Another park cat, spayed in 2011 and joined us 2012. She is one of the older residents of the sanctuary. She is affectionate with me and can be a lap cat but tends to shy away when strangers are around.
Rachel: She came to us from the shelter in 2015 un-adoptable and spends most of her time in the basement in her bed, She has an amazing smile but remains shy.
Rayna: She also came to us in April 2013 from my neighbor, it was suspected that she had a litter that was never able to be found. She is scarcely seen and hangs out in the boiler room.
Cutie Pie: She was brought here October 2015 from my neighbors father who was feeding her. She's a beautiful diluted calico, semi-feral.
Rosie: Was trapped by volunteer Debbie who asked if we could take her in, which we did gladly, and although she has been with us for 4 years she remains very feral.
Pumpkin: FIV+, he showed up in the park, he was not part of the original park colony. He was brought here in 2015, very feral.
Missy: Spayed in 2011, she was yet again another park cat. She is feral and remains downstairs.
Sebastian: He is FIV+, neutered in 2011 and brought to the sanctuary in 2015. He is a very passive cat, easily takes his medicine which is strange for a feral. He is isolated with Frankie, they both seem to thrive within the presence of one another. They can constantly be found sharing the same kitty casa.
Lovey: An original park cat, and has had a history of being sickly. She's feral to the point of no interaction and has been with us since 2012. Low profile and is found hiding a lot.
Charlie Brown: He's another cat from my neighbor, he's been in the sanctuary since December 2015. He's a loner, isolating himself downstairs. He did not do well outside, when he was his weight dropped from 17 to 6 pounds. Since being indoors he has gained all of his weight back! He stays in a small house in the boiler room. He is feral, can't be touched or gone near.
Frankie: He's had a lot of medical issues in his life, he's an original from the park. Neutered in 2011 and brought in 2015. He is isolated with Sebastian, they have both had similar medical issues and do well together.
Madison: She came from the shelter in 2017, despite her sweet and friendly nature she was deemed un-adoptable because she does not use the litter box. If she could be trained to use the box she could definitely be adopted out.
Louie: He came to us from a hoarder who moved out of their house and left him on the front porch in a carrier. He came to us with George, Gloria, and Hector.
Jedidiah: He came from the shelter already neutered, extremely skittish. Another one we do not see often.

Grumpy: He's from the shelter, was neutered in 2014 and has been with us ever since. He is FIV+, don't let his name fool you he's very friendly and docile!Cleo: A gorgeous fluffy calico, the term you can look but don't touch comes to mind as she cannot be petted. She loves to pose, but that's about all she will do, She spends most of her time outside or in her favorite hiding spot under the couch.
Checkers: An original park cat, she was spayed in 2012, she was brought into the sanctuary on Thanksgiving day in 2011. She is very skeptical of strangers and skittish with people around. However she is very sweet with me, enjoys being petted and sitting on my lap.
Hope: She was the start of the whole organization. Born around September 2011 she has a slight head tilt which made her questionable as being adoptable. She isn't all that friendly with others but is a protective lap cat with me.
The Masked Marvel: Came from the park in 2015 to us here, he is another feral cat.
Sawyer: The brother to Zach equally as sweet and lovable. Quite friendly and loves to play.
Shadow: He's a park cat, neutered in 2011 and came to the sanctuary in 2015. He got his name from being my shadow when I fed in the park. He is a little weary of strangers but will come to you on his own terms. Once he warms up he is very sweet and loves being petted but beware he shows his gratitude with a little bit a drool and a lot of big purrs!
Whisper: Came to us from the shelter as un-adoptable, he was neutered in 2014. He has been with the sanctuary for about 5 years now. He is FIV+ and currently in isolation due to a weight loss problem despite his large food intake. He is constantly being monitored and has regular vet visits.
Munchkin: She came from Happy Homes, she was found in a CVS parking lot at 10 weeks old. She's been with us less than a year.
Penny: She came to us from Happy Homes just last year. Another cat we thought could be socialized but remains feral.
Hector: He was one of the 4 saved from the hoarding situation that were left outdoors in a carrier. He allows me to pet him, I like to think he knows I helped save his life but otherwise is not too friendly.
Puffball: Another cat from my neighbor, she came here in April 2013. Although she's stunning, she's another feral cat, spends most of her time in the shed and prefers to roam around in the fenced in backyard.
Sal: He's a park cat as well, neutered in 2011 and came to the sanctuary in 2015. Found a lump in his stomach in January of 2018, remarkably so, the vet thought he would only have a few months left and he's still here!
Ebony: He was neutered in 2011. He has to be netted in order to receive wellness checks. He is friendly with Mommy and Charcoal as they all stay in the same room together but otherwise is completely feral with humans, he spits and hisses if you come near.
George: The last cat from the hoarder carrier situation, he's also feral, he is seen here with Louie on the right, they spend most of their time huddled together.
Albert: He's from the park as well, neutered in 2011 and entered the sanctuary in 2015, he is definitely feral, this is the only photo we have of him from his arrival. |
